Internship Program 2005
About FPI: Forest Partners International's mission is
to promote sustainable natural resource management practices globally
in regions of high biodiversity through partnerships that address
biodiversity and human needs.
Internship Assignments: FPI is a new conservation organization,
which is dependent upon volunteer assistance. Interns will be
assigned projects that require a great deal of independent research
and action, with only periodic supervision by FPI staff. Potential
applicants from nearly any field of academics are encouraged to
inquire about potential assignments. Interns may work in the fields
of biology, animal health, human health, economics, geography,
graphic arts, public relations, marketing, among others.
Application Deadline: None, internships are available
year-round
Academic Standing: Minimum GPA of 2.5 or recommendation
of academic advisor
Internship Requirements: Hourly commitment is negotiable
